Today concluded a whirlwind tour of medical visits – specifically I have been to and through 11 appointments in the last 11 days! As most of y’all are aware, I am back enrolled at speech therapy since having vocal chord surgery. Under the ever-watchful eye of Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Texas, I am back at my original rehab hospital and have been allowed to return to my primary speech therapist from last year.

A few weeks ago, I posed “A Call to Action“. In the article, readers were asked to contact their US Representatives and ask them to support a bill that proposed to designate May as “National Brain Tumor Awareness Month”. Guess what? IT WORKED!
